I'm sure its never happened on this planet before hahahaha
If you are truly interested in a supercharger I must ask for what. Because most of the time its just to drive car around town, stoplight stuff local, tire smoke, not racing. And in that case you would prefer the positive displacement style of supercharger and maybe like 'screw' type, I would put a bet on that. And there are many to choose from I believe we have some vendors here in fact with such kits...
Has anyone installed a ProCharger Stage II System With P1SC SuperCharger on a C5 and what were the results. Thanks.
I did a friend awhile bck all stock but injectors. i believe 8lbs ish dont remember
just under 500. keep the stock fuel system and anymore hp you need to upgrade fuel system.

depends on what kind of racing...
if the only things that matter are hooking a launch & getting from point A to B without any turns, then a centrifugal is better than a PD (but not as good as turbo).

I said not racing. The opposite of the thing you are talking about
I agree with your statement which is why i said not racing, and most corvette owners think of their car in terms of 1/4 mile anyways

your post seemed to read as if you were suggesting he pursue a PD blower instead of the centrifugal if he was interested in racing (rather than simply tooling around town).
my point was that 'racing' is also contextual. PD blowers are good for road course / circuit racing (what C5+ Corvettes were built for), but centrifugals are better-suited for drag racing (again, with turbo being even better for drags).
i agree, though: a PD is funner around town for regular driving.

I wonder if anybody will read what seems to me to be a perfectly constructed sentence?
Is it just me? When I write this stuff, to me its right, but I wind up defending myself half the time for something I did not say
