So are the people telling you the clutch won't last mentioning anything about the engine not lasting if it's not tuned?

Whoah whoah whoa..... he'll blow up that engine that way if he doesn't get your sarcasm. LOL

YES - it must be tuned when the blower is installed. Whatever your current tune is, if you add a blower and do not adjust for it you will end up lean afr and melt your pistons and rings.

Repeat YES it must be tuned and the Tuner and Tune are probably the most important aspect of the blower install.

LS7 clutch will hold fine for now. When it dies a natural death at some point you can upgrade then.

ls7 clutch is pretty durn good and how you drive will determine how long it will hold but at 700 you should be ok

for goodness sake have it tuned after blower install

you can drive to the tuner at low rpms and swap the injectors and tune it

most important part as others have said!!

Yes, tune it .... I used HP Tuner and stayed with 7.5psi. It gets you smog legal and produces 500HP plus. Safe reliable power for over 40K miles.

If your plan is the fastest..... It may not last,,,, I went conservative and still blew out Centerforce Clutch rated at 500HP.

I now sport a 750HP Centerforce Clutch that squeals until it warms up. So,there is some compromise running race components.

Good Luck with your build,

Mecinoid ...
