1) cut the mounting tabs off of the front frame rail for the air duct(you will move the radiator support in place of this)
2) cut the mounting tabs for the lower radiator support off of frame rail
3) grind down frame rail so its smooth
4) Move radiator support forward 4" and tack weld in place
5) position radiator and custom fit top piece(cut sides in half and rivet back together)
6) once radiator is in place weld lower radiator support
7) you need two extensions on the pipe which I have the #s at home. If you have any questions please let me know.
Phillip

I'm going to lower mine this weekend. Does anyone know part#s for the new hoses that are requred. What exactly does #7 above mean?

Also, any how-to pics? I'll probably take some while I'm doing mine if none are out there.

i might be able to send you a few pics and i have the part number for the passenger side radiator hose you will need. I dont know what the #7 means unless he is talking about the tubes that come out of the intercoolers and up around the front radiator shroud to connect to the "Y" that goes into the throttle body. The 90 degree tubes that are there werent long enough to clear the shroud after i modified everything. So i ordered 2 of the longer tubes that had the 45 degree bend that go into the intercoolers and used them instead of the 90 degree tubes. I moved my radiator about 5.5 inches forward, and because of this you will also have to modify the front radiator shroud to conform to the new angle of the radiator. Anyway, its a little bit of work. Oh yeah, i used the stock upper radiator hose, it worked fine. i will send you a few pics and stuff later,,,,,dong have time at the moment,,,,,,,where in tx are you?

Great, thanks for the info. I'll be looking for your email/post. I'm in Austin.

Where did you order the extra 90* tubes from?

I think I remember seeing some people without a shroud. Has that caused any problems?
