What kind of coolant temps do you guys get in the summer (95+ degrees), stop and go traffic, and AC on? My car normally runs around 190. In those conditions I'm seeing 230. Oil temp a little higher too, but not as much difference as coolant. I have cleaned the intercooler, condenser, and radiator already,
In those conditions, coolant temps can definitely rise. 230°F is higher than ideal, but not uncommon in stop-and-go traffic with AC on. You might want to check your fans and make sure everything is flowing well.
under those conditions, I use to see similar temps. and it would keeps climbing and running away into the 230s
This summer I decided to finally vent the hood, and it dropped the temps over 20*, and actually lower the temps when i'm moving.
With the vent, it'll aim to maintain 178*, at worst case, it may creep to about 206 in high traffic situations.
Notice I have no shrouding, and in south Florida, so there's room to improve on my stock cooling system. I just started with the vent, path of least resistance

I had my 03 supercharger installed this past week and now after having new plumbing my car stays @ 187. Days lol have to wait for warmer temps and stop and go traffics for the real test.
thx
Pretty much everyone said. You also want to ensure your radiator and condenser is cleaned out properly. Check to see if your air dam is intact as well.
