Default Stock+150 shot=?

What kind of traps/times will a stock LS-1+150 shot run usually?

And also, is a 150 shot fine to run without any other mods, or would I have to add fuel? I heard to back out 1 deg of timing per 50hp, is this correct?

Any advice to get me running safe would be great, thanks.

150 on stock engine is no problem.
Just get all safety goodies for your system.
If you get a wet system, this would add the additional fuel you need.
You can expect low 11´s with the right tires.
No need to retard timing on a 150 shot on stock engine (I and others did run that without any troubles for a long time).
Don´t know if you have MN6 or A4, but you will need a new clutch or a beefed up Y4 sooner or later, depending on what tires you run and how often you spray.

Hope that helps.
If you have any more questions...just post.

Michael

It's a 6 speed.

Spray won't be used that often, but if I fry the clutch I'll get a better one.

What kind of safety goodies would you reccommend? I was planning on these: window switch, WOT switch, bottle warmer/blanket, bottle opener, purge kit, blow off cap. Any other parts that you think I should get, or any parts that I listed that aren't necessary?

BADAzZv8, the parts you listed are a must don't forget to buy NGK TR6 spark plugs and depending on if your going to the track most techs wont let you run without a blow down tube :banghead: but there's other ways around that  (a little disassembly before tech) :blueangel: your blow off cap is standard on a NX bottle other than that and a new clutch once your old one starts slipping and some new drag radials you should be good to go . look forward to knocking off a full second with traction with a 150 shot! :steering:

150 shot + stock LS1 = 12.1 @ 118 MPH.

What exactly is a blow down tube, and what ways are there around this?

blowdown tube is a tube that will route nitrous out the the cabin, if your pressure seal ever break. Pressure seal will break if you have too much pressure, or over fill the bottle

There is no way around this. It is NHRA rules to have one if you race at any track. Its a good safety device too.

Well my drag strip probably won't open my hood anyway, so I could probably get away with it. And I won't be dragging it much anyway, we'll see.

NHRA rules says that they must open the hood to check the battery and make sure you have overflow tanks on your radiator.

They have never opened my hood on my 12 second C4, so I doubt they'll start looking at my stock C5.

Also, my friend has an 11 second talon, and his battery is in the trunk. He still continues to run, they have never looked at his.

Just remember, S A F E T Y is very important. You do not want a seal going bad inside the car while you are driving.
You better hope you have an :blueangel: watching you

What is the correct pill numbers for a 150 shot on a NOS system. I got a NOS system on my car but a skematic of a NX system. They say a 150 shot is a 59Nos pill and a 33Fuel pill. Is the NOS system the same.
