My car is an 01 Z06 Borla stinger
Last year I made a few changes
Forged stroker ,383, low compression, blueprinted, headers, 1 7/8" , no cats, clutch, fuel pump,
A&A sc, 8 rib and more
It is so loud...around 650 at wheels
Please recommend some mufflers . I don't care if it loses some power
Is it actually too loud on the outside or too loud on the inside (aka too much drone on the highway around 2k rpm)? If drone is the issue Corsa Sport will be the mildest option you can buy on the inside:
Your stingers have mufflers already, they just are not all that good at reducing the volume. If you want to reduce the volume output on the outside you can add some resonators.
If you can fit it, I cannot recommend Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonators enough. On my wife's car, it was ear-shatteringly loud. We put only one of those things on her car and it tamed it almost completely. Still a noticeable presence but, massive improvement in sheer volume and harshness.
My car has headers, no cats and Borla stingers and I love the sound.
I don't want to lose my sound. what do you think?
The sound will invariably change as you're adding or removing items from your exhaust. With that being said, there's a bunch of videos on YouTube that show the before and after results of adding this. It will significantly reduce rasp and harshness if that's what you're after.

I will have to remove the Borla stinger resonator/mufflers . I have to measure if the Vibrant ultra will fit where the Borla res. in a c5 .
Hello, yes a little hp is lost. I have factory TI with longtubes and the V7 Ysi makes a bit of whine on my 392. I LOVE it, still normal conversation as it idles like a alcohol funny car. Now with a little gas pedal it gets a bit louder (3200 stall), and when the boost comes up it is horribly loud. NO resonation on the hwy, cabin is quiet, Period, I vote for factory TI.
