The roads here are still cold and dirty, so traction was wasn't even close to happening. I love the hood. Although, it did cut down on frontal view a little of things up close, it just kept reminding me that massive torque was just a "tap of the gas pedal" away.
1st gear is absolutely useless. Some of 2nd was spent spinning, too. 3rd just rocked! Most cars pull hard then level out to a gradual RPM pull. This thing is just explosive! It pulls hard and keeps pulling hard through EVERY gear.
I can even accelerate hard in overdrive!
I'm impressed! You just can't go wrong with a roots blower. They make impressive low end power, and the Magnacharger proves it! It felt like a 502 was twisting under that hood!
Lambchop, that is the way to do an automatic car. Rear gears, torque con., and magnacharger. When weather permits post some track numbers. If I remember the car/driver magazine test was a 6spd but I could be wrong. Glad you are a happy camper. :smash: :smash:

I don't have the dyno sheet in front of me, but it builds 5 psi from 2000 RPM on. If you want instant torque, don't hesitate! I'd do it all over again. :yesnod:
