  Nitrous can work on high compression cars no problem, superchargers do not like high compression. I switched from N20 to a supercharger because I like the power to be there when I plant the throttle, not when I open the bottle, make sure the warmer was on, make sure the pressure is up, etc. etc. Just my preference.

If you are going for performance go with the juice. Can't beat it. With the money you save you can build yourself a super strong bottom end.

That's the route I'm going anyways.
Just my 2 cents.

Nitrous + stage 2 Heads + Cam + Headers.......and you will be very happy power wise and money wise.
By the way.........kick that vipers butt................I have beat one couple weeks ago, as soon as Nitrous came on 3000rpm, I was gone and he was pretty impressed when we came to the next ligth.

I was a good bit more but I decided on going with a fully built big cube motor + nitrous instead of a stock ci motor w/ a supercharger. I may go TT in the future...

Most of the very fast cars seem to be big cubes + nitrous.

I would go with the nitrous - dollar for dollar the best bang for your buck.

Also, as stated, nitrous works fine with high compression - just use common sense - 75-150 shot should be fine.

DON'T FORGET THE TIRES - all the power in the world won't do you a lot of good if you can't put it to the ground.

Spend $2K on the CCW kit and $1K on a nitrous kit with all the fixins, and you will be hard to beat.

H/C, S/C. jeaders and exhaust can get you over 650rwhp if done right and a little aggressively. It will cost, but with a good h/c and headers, you can pick up the "100" shot of Nos and it's there everytime you mash the throttle, not at just one rpm setting. Add to that about 8-10# of boost. Looks like Nos makes more sense if you're looking for cheap power or like to drag race. The other is a much more streetable package IMO. PS if you don't add a 250 shot with your listed mods and blow your motor, you won't be in the same area code with a juiced viper! 1k is alot to wager running what you have.

Here is my 02. I woudl defintely go with an SC. But thatst because I've had Nitrous and although its lots of fun in the begining, after awhile, you get tired of certain things. At leasts I did.

And always remeber it is one of the bigger risks. There is a reason why LPE and other Tuners do not warranty nitrous, even with a strong bottom end. I'm not trying to flame but rather am just trying to give you some pros and cons. Sure, its cheap but the irony is that you may be paying so much more in the end if you aren't careful. And when that extra shot of HP temptation . comes-a-knocking, which is hard to resist, thats when you can get nailed.

You can definately buy alot of NOS for the 7k difference between the price of the kit and supercharging! But its a hassle to run out and get refills and if your fuel solenoid ever doesn't open you just spent the 7k you just saved. Best Buy Nitrous, no doubt about it, but you must drive around with a compressed bottle in your trunk. Its all in what you want in your particular car. Installed correctly their both safe power adders unless something goes wrong.
