that is correct...it will not fit. Reason...mostly only brackets which is the main
reason the unit application for the c5 is over 6k
I'm pretty decent at metal work could I fab my own brackets?
I would think given the recent problem history of SC made for the C5, you would even have more issue for a system that is not designed for the C5. :yesnod:
If you want a centrifugal SC look for a used ATI, decent price & complete bolt on kit.
Powerdyne are nonintercooled & will only give you 20-30% increase in HP.

You could make you own brackets but, these are must be precession cut
and measured brackets. If you read thru the C5 forced induction, you will find that some if the issues is belt slippage..etc All the bugs are not out of
most of the units from what i read.
I have two good friends who did modify brackets but they were for much
simplier applications! One was a 1968 olds 442 and one was a 1980 pontaic Trans-Am. I assisted on the install. Yes, it can be done but with much time
to loose. You would rather be driving the working.
If you would like to get a used unit, I would check ebay every so often. Last
week a used C5 Carol unit (complete) was sold for $4k. (great deal)

The worst thing that could happen is the main bearing is shot which can
be overhalled for a small ammount of $ from the factory.
