s/c + nos ???
Is it possible because of compression issues to run at same time?
Second. My ATI kicks in around 4000 RPM or so, can you set up nos to turn on and off at lower RPMS to make up for that slight lag? Not that I'm gonna do it anytime soon, but ya never know. :D
I believe several forum members are doing (or will be doing) exactly what you propose. I'm just going from what I've read (not from experience) but here is what I think I read:
a) doing a 75 shot or so from 2000 until 4000 RPM will help overcome the low-power situation you have during those RPMS
b) and, if you do a dry shot, the NOS will also serve to cool the incoming air thus reducing the chance for detonation
An option on most (all?) NOS setups is what is called a "window switch" that governs the boundary RPMS at which the NOS is sprayed. In your case, you'd simply configure your window to be from 2k to 4k or whatever you determined to be reasonable.
I hope this helps. Again, keep in mind that I'm only going by what I've read... Hopefully someone with real experience in this area will chime in for you.
good luck,
Justin
In regards to the above post, a window switch would give you the desired effect (on @ 2000rpm then off @ 4000rpm)
However... since you should only be spraying at WOT, how often are you in that 2k-4k window at WOT? Almost never! WOT upshifts go into the next gear right around 4k rpm and you'll never be in your window.
Pretty much the only gear you would be in that 2k-4k window for any significant amount of time is going to be 1st, and if you're spraying NOS+blower in 1st, you're gonna need funny-car tires. :)
I say go for the NOS+blower, but screw the window switch! :reddevil
Or if you really don't want to be spraying up high, at least move that upper window to 5500rpm or so.
I still have my nitrous kit installed, and have the pills for my MSD window switch. I haven't had the ***** to try both yet since I don't have a spare LS1 sitting around my garage. I plumbed it in like this >>

your solution is very simple ..Drop a set of 4.10's in your ride and you'll be in the sweet spot all the time :yesnod:
Personally I think N2O and a blower is a bad combo.
My car has Zero Lag..
