Basically, I have a problem getting my car trailered so that I can get it dyno tuned. ATI has really endorsed Ed Wright and FastChip.com as the best place for getting tuned with my setup.
Re: Has anyone used Ed Wright programming for an ATI? (hogurt)
Actually I have H/C, ATI, LT headers, full Borla exhaust and Racetronix and I have Ed Wright programming without any problems. While there may be extra ponies with actual dyno tuning, over 660hp is only numbers. Go for it, I have had no issues and love the transmission tuning on the A4 as well

No, I live in the boonies, with no tuner in town. That's why I sent Ed my PCM. I've yet to get my car on a dyno, and I'm sure that when I do the tuner will be able to do even better, but as it is it runs very strong with no detonation. Ed's is a good solution if you want to do the install yourself and then drive it to a tuner later.

Ed Wright did my '02 after I had the heads and Vortech installed. Didn't quite feel right. Recently went with a bigger blower and 3.90 gears and the car is on the dyno as we speak @ Morgan's. Initial pass showed 575 RWHP @ 5800 RPM and the fuel pump shutdown. New racetronix being installed. Not sure what my final #'s will be. Should have graph tomorrow.
Comment was the Ed Wright tune was VERY lean. I don't have specifics. For a mail order it's good but sure doesn't come close to a dyno tune.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will break the 600 RWHP....

We've had Ed program quite a few computers and have had good results with each. Having the car on a dyno for tuning is always the best way to go but he shows good results if your computer has to be sent in.
