Just had a NX bottle opener installed and I have kind of a silly question. At what point in time do you know when the valve is fully open? Can it be opened to far (or too much) and will this hurt the system?
The reason I ask is that no where in the manual does it state how long to hold the switch on for the bottle to be completly open nor does it give any other indication on the controls of the bottle being opened or closed.
Could not get in touch with NX today so I thought one of you may know.
there is a clutch that prevents it from being opened or closed too much. It should only take a couple of seconds. If you can hear the opener, the opener changes tones when it is fully opened or closed, due to the clutch engaging.

Another thing to remember is the first time you get your bottle filled try to remember to very lightly tighten the bottle as the remote opener does not have that much torque to open a tight bottle. If the opener does not open the bottle, you probably tightened it too much.. :)

I was listing for a change in tone, however unfortunately I really can't here it over the exhaust. So would you say then maybe (3) full seconds from full close to full open?
