I would do it again in a heart beat. I wanted the power and reliablilty, but wasn't looking for a MAX HP drag car as most of my drive is just everyday driving :)
I already had headers which help but not needed.
Installed in two evenings about 7-8 hours. First evening did the top end, very easy with normal tools. Second evening pinned the pulley to crank, little harder but do-able.
Biggest problem is getting BIG butt SMILE off your face :) :)
Good Luck
George

Marc, when you are ready to do this, get the caravaggio hood. That has to be the best SC hood i have seen and will look very classy on your already very classy looking pewter coupe
I pretty much agree with everything that George said. I've had mine since March, so I'm guessing I have 3k to 4k miles on mine. The farthest trip I have made with it was about 300 miles, and it behaved like stock, other than of course when I "had" to pass folks on the highway. So far, I'm quite happy with the results. Mine has been rumored to run with a Viper GTS, which was later learned to put down about 450 rwph, from a "roll" at different speeds: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=508398
Pros: neat looks to just about anyone who peers under the hood; immediate torque at low rpms; nice RWHP through entire RPM band; tiniest whistle at idle and low RPMs, followed by mean squeal, outside the car, under WOT; endorsed by one of the most historically recognized Vette tuners out there (Lingenfelter); presumed to be reliable; as a roots blower on top of the engine, no pressurized hoses or belts with higher likelihood of repeated failure
Cons: need new hood; not intercooled; horsepower out of boost alone limited to about 85-115 rwph gain, unless going to a smaller pulley and adding additional aspects to deal with heat from increasing boost (since not intercooled)
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it. :D
