Default Going Dry? Final answer

I've read several posts and technical articles that say that my 99 will have no problem with a 100hp dry shot. I don't plan on running over 100hp.

So I want to do a dry kit, but really like the NX stuff. Does NX make a dry kit? If so a part # and price?

Where should it be injected? I have a blackwing and stock air bridge. There isn't much to mount to before the MAF, any photos would be appreciated.

I'm planning on:

100hp Dry kit
NX bottle opener
NX switch panel
NX auto bottle heater
MSD window switch

On another note, is there a way to prevent the arming of the system while the AH/TC control is on?

Just buy the nx kit and use it as a dry. The only difference is the fuel solenoid.

NX only makes wet kits...NOS and TNT both make a dry kit, but the TNT is just a generic EFI dry kit, and the NOS is for the LS1 (Camaro's and Firebird's). The NOS kit also comes with a 15lb bottle, and it's too big to fit in the rear compartment if that is where you plan on mounting it. If so, you have to send back your 15lb bottle and they will send you a 10 lb one.

I have the NOS kit on my car and a blackwing intake as well. You'll have to figure out your own way to spray before the MAF, it will take some fabrication on your part since it isn't a bolt on kit for the vettes. I spent a good 4 days on mine fabricating all the stuff to be completely hidden. It sure is fun smoking vipers then popping your hood and saying, "I just have a few bolt ons" :D

There's also a product called Laptrak that will automatically put your car in competitive mode everytime you start your car so you don't have to worry about forgetting to take TC off. Have fun

So as far as plumbing the blackwing... where did you mount it? I would think that if the plumer isn't facing into the intake that the NO2 will just excape out of the filter.

I had to drill holes into the blackwing and run the nozzles inside of it. They are pointed directly at the MAF, but are far enough away as to not freeze it.

wuts the diffrence between a wet and dry system again? Does a dry system run through the intake and wet directly through the fuel? And which is better/safer for ur engine?
