This thread did get educational. Im going to take it back to its primitive beginning if I may.
My car is at the tuners but he is unable to duplicate the erratic fuel pressure drops I was getting. (I drove the car there 75 miles and only had it happen twice on the first mile or so of my trip).
Anyway. They are checking all the wiring now and we are probably just going to upgrade to the Racetronix pump because it has all the wiring etc. (hoping we are fixing the so far unidentified problem with one "swoop"). Also changing the fuel filter etc.
My question is. Can a stock fuel pump act this way? Dropping pressure in an erratic nature. This happened out of the blue. The car only has 6k on the odo. and the pump is NOT making any unusual noise. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks for the quick reply Racetronix. Going to have the filter changed as well. The problem first occured when I was down to less then 1/4 tank of gas (gauge said half but thats another matter). Anyhow I did fill it and it was ok for a bit but then started again. :nonod:
Im not giving my tuner much to work with being its not throwing codes or duplicating the problem for him but at the very least I guess I will upgrade some components out of this. If the problem still persists then Im not sure what we will do.
