How much does a dyno tune usually run?
Sorry for the newbie question
I'm trying to compare costs involved in a Magnusson setup versus that of a TTi turbo system. Tuning is included with the Mag, but not with the TTi.
So, what kind of cost is involved getting a new FI car tuned properly? Just trying to make sure I've got the whole picture :) .
Cheers!

We charge $495 for a dyno tune...
IMO, its hit/miss with off the shelf programmers.
Good Luck... Call us if you would like a breakdown of the pricing on the kits you mentioned :)

Thanks Guys :)
Still waffling unbelievably on how to get a good shot of torque into this motor. Need to come up with a plan on what direction to go, since it affects all of the supporting mods (i.e. don't buy headers if going with a turbo system!)
The TTi looks great - I love turbochargers - but having to build some custom IC piping to retain the brake ducts means it'd be a pain...and probably more expensive than it seems. For the track days I do, losing those is unacceptable.
I guess one would probably have to go to a big single dual-inlet-single-outlet FMIC, rather than the two side-mounted IC's. Doh!
Then I'm right back where I started with the Magnusson, which is going to have to work pretty hard up here at altitude, which in turn will create lots of heat :( . Not sure what the right answer for good, drivable, racable HP is up here :boxing
