What size pulley did you end up running on the supercharger and what does it cost?
I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and want to be prepared
BTW 21st Century is a first class outfit, if anyone is planning on using these guys, do it you will not be disapointed

Re: 500+ RWHP Magnacharged Z06 (Sack Rat TT)
Daaayymm-I am so happy for the owner of that ZO-6. However, I am sure glad 21st added my TT boost controller just in case I cross paths with this animal. If he/she gets the jump on most F.I. cars or N.A. 427's it would be difficult to reel him in if you ever could. One would need a long highway to catch up, so, jump first and ask questions later.

The question I really want answered, cause this is an awesome setup, is will this setup with dragslicks run in the mid 10's like most stage 1 lpe guys with slicks.

I would say no on the 10 sec pass. I have a 03 ZO6, Magnuson, MTI C2 cam, and full bolt-ons. I made two passes in 100 degree heat on ET Streets at 4K rpm's. launch was fine, no spinning, no bog.
11.77/118
11.74/118
I think it's a low 11 sec setup in cooler weather, even though this setup dyno's about 25 rwhp more than me. On a cool day, right conditions anything is possible. Probable.....I don't think so.

Re: 500+ RWHP Magnacharged Z06 (brent eb02)
I wouldn't count on that brent. LPE suggested my 12.41 @113 w/ 1.7 60' was quite respectable for a A4 car. If you look at the C&D article the car with manual only posted a 11.7. I know of one Z06 with 485 RWHP who was at the track that broke into the 11's that day.

Best of luck John.I own several Vettes and my favorite is my 520 rrwhp car.Anything less than 500 a bit to light at 500(the magic #) makes the car have just the right rrwhp for daily driveability and the highest fun factor.
The best of luck on your project and I'm sure as all your products, and packages,it will work give or take a few %ge points,
The Best from Xtreme,David Smilovic.
PS: 6k miles on my 427 TT and hard miles and running stronger than ever,by the way which exhaust are you running on the 427 TT as I may switch from prt's to Stingers,Yours Truly, would you mail me on the exhaust or should I call Tim Dyer(the bald man)just playin'

Re: 500+ RWHP Magnacharged Z06 (ZO6DUST)
Z06DUST - Why are you risking the motor running in 100 degree weather with a blower and hyper's for pistons? 100 degree weather at WOT is torture on a N/A car let alone a FI car.
Some of you folks have HUGE HUGE ones!

Ummmmmm..... mostly because the thermal issues you are worried about aren't an issue with a change in ambient temps- another 20 degrees outside ain't gonna melt down pistons.

Re: 500+ RWHP Magnacharged Z06 (21STCENTURYMUSCLECAR)
John...I have a 2002 Z06 with the Magnacharger installed and I have excessive pinging @ low RPM...any problems you've had with pinging? Could too much timing be the problem?

Re: 500+ RWHP Magnacharged Z06 (Z06CONVSC)
Do you know what your A/F readings are?
What kind of air intake system do you have?
The car may need fuel and or timing pulled but it is pretty hard to
get the tune accurate without physically having the car.

John Page

Re: 500+ RWHP Magnacharged Z06 (Z06CONVSC)
Not trying to come between you and John (a heck of a nice guy); however, to try and shed light on the subject, I was experiencing some part throttle, lo rpm pinging while merging onto freeways and Jayson @ MTI called it tip-in knock. He then went in and modified my timing tables at certain rpms and haven't had a problem in over a year and counting -- even in this summer's dreadful heat.

"Jayson @ MTI called it tip-in knock."
I for one dont know how he would have got this knock out with just timing.
I have pulled over 10 degrees out (ahead of the knock attack) and watched this knock pull 10 more while still in closed loop. I even let it go to -5 degrees and got the same result. My conclusion is I cant control this knock with LS1_EDIT. the blower may be interfering with the AFR behind the MAF. I tried going into open loop at this point to get it a little richer with no luck! With the A4 I have let the transmission shift at higher speeds to have higher rpm at tip-in with limited success.
So I ask the question, Is my Magnuson defective? and or My knock sensors whacked? or Timing and AFR wont control Knock at tip-in? :nonod: , could really use a solution at this point.
But then again I could be wrong.
