DIY polishing the magnuson (from satin to polish)
Well. I have the satin. I am stuck with it. But it would be a fun winter project to polish it up. Anyone have some DIY advice?

Re: DIY polishing the magnuson (gmf)
I called Magnuson on this exact question, they did not recommend it. They said the polishing material would get in sensitive areas and cause problems. If they completely disassemble it an polish it that way, it was not cost effective. Ahyway that is what they told me. So I am still looking for a polished used Magnuson!

1. Pop your hood.
2. Drink a beer.
3. Lean over engine compartment and look closely at supercharger
4. Drink another beer.
5. Remove shoes and socks, then remove lint from toenails.
6. Drink two more beers.
7. Ask yourself, "Why didn't I buy the polished one to begin with?"
8. Repeat step 6.
9. Repeat step 3. At this point the supercharger may look polished. If so, you are finished, if not, go to step 7-9 again.
10. Enjoy!!!

Get ahold of this guy, and maybe sell him yours, then buy a polished one.

This will save you both the trouble of polishing yours, and the headache (hangover) from Yellohhh's idea! :D
