Is 225F too hot?
Average outside temp is 75 degrees outside and not running the car hard. My temp seems high for 178 degree thermostat

225 sounds a little high for a 75 degree day, what temps are your fans programmed to come on at?

That is too high for 75 outside temps...do you have the air on? What temps do your fans come on? I have a 160 t-stat, a 2450 cfm single fan and a Meziere electric water pump. My operating temps at 75 outside are 185-195 with normal driving and no air on. First thing I would check is your fan cycle temps...sounds like they are not coming on soon enough.

Check your fan wiring..My guess is that only one fan is working , also look under the car for any debris that may be blocking the air flow.

I have the single fan and ATI SC install by XtremeMotorsport. The fan does comes on. Any idea what the temperature should be with No AC on and on during normal driving?

My temp's go from 185 - 219 depending on stop and go traffic, outside temp's, etc. You definately have something amiss.

Re: Is 225F too hot? (HIGHRPM)
I never get 225 unless I'm on roadcourse in very hot weather and it usually occurs after I've been running her hard for many laps.
Typically, in 85-90 degeres on public streets I'm around 190 - 200. Oil temp is around 210-215 if I've been driving for awhile.
