Look at my website. There's a picture of the belt routing. It's also important to get the tensioner bracket in the right position. It should point down and end up being about an inch from the frame. You'll also have to break off the tab on the thermostat. It will jam up the lower pulley.
The lower pulley bolts on from the back side first, then bolt the main bracket to the blower with the allen screws. The other two pulleys bolt through the bracket with the 3/8 bolts. The other bracket bolts on like the stock Procharger piece. Good luck.
Got it installed Andy, everything lines up great but the 99.5" belt is too short. With the tensioner fully extended, it just wouldn't fit. I will try a 100" and a 100.5 inch belt. I have the 3.85" pulley. The routing is correct but it won't slip over the idler, it's close but I don't want the tensioner fully extended. Thanks
Something's wrong. The 99.5 should fit the 3.85 pulley. Are you sure the little bracket for the tensioner is mounted correctly? I've never had a problem getting a 99.5 on.
If it's close, try this. Take the alternator pulley off the shaft. Put the belt aound all the pulleys and just pull the alternator pulleytowards you and slip it over the shaft. It saves you having to work the belt over the lip on the pulley.
Hi Andy, the 100.5" belt works but not sure if it will slip. When I got the bracket from diynoob, it was already assembled. I'm thinking the tensioner bracket may be installed backwards. The tensioner isn't really pointing down, it's about even with the top of the right side frame. I should take a pic to show you. Thanks for the help. I'll try and post a pic soon.
