Default Entirely new system-Pics inside

My new single intercooler system is a complete redesign pretty much from thr ground up. I'm making my own bracket and pulley system, available in six and 8 rib. Take a close look at the bracket. The tensioner is right at the crank pulley. The longest run of belt between the crank pulley and blower pulley is about 6". The inlet is now 4" mandrel bent, bead rolled, steel tubing. Silicone couplers and Heavy duty band clamps asuure that the hoses can't blow off. I now use a custom made sheet metal intercooler made to my specs. I've made the intercooler taller, thicker, but not as wide. This allows more air to the radiator and allows more room for the air filter and duct. It has a 4" outlet to match the tubing. The MAF is also relocated away from the turbulence coming out of the intercooler. The air has a smooth inlet to the MAF.
The P1SC will come with a Bosch blowoff valve.
. Notice the nipple on the tube just below the blower. This is for the Blowoff valve. It will also come with a 6 rib setup , new tensioner, and 42# injectors. All necessary radiator hoses etc. will be included. The introductory price for the whole system will be $4995
The D1 will come with a flange welded to that same tube and a Vortech Pro billet blowoff valve. It will also come with an ATI performance 8 rib damper and all new 8 rib pulleys , new tensioner, Reichard Racing Ultra Grip pulley. This will be the ultimate blower setup for those looking for 600 RWHP+.
This setup will be $6295. Of course you can upgrade the P1SC to 8 rib, if you like. It's $1095 to upgrade. Or you can get the D1 with a six rib and Bosch BOV for $4995. I suggest the upgrades for the D1, however.
Let me know what you think and if there is anything you would like to see added or changed. All these new changes are a direct result of feedback from you guys. Criticism is welcome, also. ( to a point :D )

Yup. $4995 for everything, including the blower. I even have a setup with a used blower for $4200. The blower has the remainder of the extended warrantee on it. 2 years left, I believe.

VERY   I think I'll be ordering the D-1 for my 383 here pretty soon. What pully size would I need to run 8lbs on a 383?

Sure I got a few questions/suggestions.
1. Some ATI tech was telling me their kits come with a three year warranty. But since you use the blower only and everything else is yours how long is the warranty and who provides it? It seems ATI may choose not to cover the blower or anything because its not being used in "their" kit?
2. The kit is starting to look really nice but your missing a couple things still. How about taking those 4 elbows and three straight pieces and having them molded into one piece like the mms kit. Everyone of those juncture points is another bracket to tighten and place to have a boost leak.
3. Also a better way to hold the tubing to the car besides drilling a hole in the frame and using a zip tie to secure it would be nice.
4. How much for us with the "old" kit to get that phat pipe setup for the maf? It looks very nice compared to the dual airbridges.

impressive looking kit, design, and prices. i hope it works well. :)

what is the clearance like underneath (for the slammed C5s)?

oh, and humorous/ironic that the D1 kit has both ATI and Vortech parts. :)

Andy

I already have the stock ATI p1sc setup; how much to swap to your 6 rib setup with single ic and cold air. I only run 5psi of boost on an ls6 with stock CR.

Everything sounds really great! I don't know if you mentioned it or not, but does the complete kit come with a computer tuner or anything to set the car up once the blower is installed?

I'm interested in the D1 setup with your 6 rib pulleys and Bosch BOV, figure this blower is a better "base" to work off of as more mods come down the road. Any opinions on my  logic?
