I just dropped of my car for the ATI kit to be installed. It is the 8 PSI kit with the single intercooler setup that A&A corvette offers. The car has a catback and 3.42 gears with and A4 trans. What kind of HP and quarter mile times should I expect and would Long tube headers make a big diffrence? :jester
From what i know A A is the best or one of the best...Headers will definatelly help at 8 lb which is what i run I would think you should be around 515 rwhp.. :)
Andy did a great job with my car about a month ago. ATI P1SC with MMS bracket, single intercooler, FLP Level IV tranny, Vigilante 2800 stall TC, used Z06 3.42 differential, tranny cooler, Racetronix fuel pump, and 42 lb injectors. MMS did the dyno tune - 477 RWHP and 454 RWT ith TTS headers, A&A x-pipe and Corsa cat-back :D Andy rocks
I know people get excited about this when they do it. Honestly though we see threads like this on a regular basis. I think the guys in the FI section are a pretty tight knit group of regulars. It just gets old seeing the same questions over and over. If you try a search in this section or just go through it you will find some great info.
Andy does great work, no doubt about it. He's refined the Procharger kit in ways that ATI should have before the realease. You're in good hands. If you don't make enough power, just leave your car there. Andy will give you more power than you can handle.
If you haven't done headers though, do them. Do them while the car is there. It really makes a difference that you feel without a doubt. Enjoy your born again C5.
