Vortech Kit Question
Ok I am thinking of buying that vortech of 99 red vette and I don't what year it is for but I went to the Vortech homepage and seen that there is 3 different models 97-98, 00 and 01-03 + the Z06 kits. I have an 00 but have LS6 heads so I would problay wnat the Z06 kit because of the higher compression heads, but will everythign else work?

The differences in the kits is mainly programming.. There is a difference in how the location of the ABS module is handled on some models. If you have Z06 compression you will want to run the 34 tooth pulley to keep the boost down.
If you get the kit that 99redvette and it comes with the 30 tooth pulley I have a deal for you. I have a new unused 34 tooth pulley that I will trade for the 30 tooth pulley.

In addition to what VortechC5 said, the 1997-2000 kits use the V-2 SQ S-Trim supercharger. The 2001-2003 kits (all of C5 versions) use the V-2 SQ SC-Trim supercharger. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

The 00's have a bigger ABS pump. An ABS pump relocating bracket is included with the 00 kits. You will need one. Good luck with your project. It was the BEST mod I did to my car... :cheers:
