1 word - RADIX! :)

This all-new intercooled supercharger system utilizes the Magna Charger MP112 supercharger with internal bypass valve. Torque and horsepower increases are improved 63%-125% from 2,700 rpm to 5,500 rpm, giving more "power under the curve" than any other supercharger system available. This translates into a 130+hp increase to your rear wheels!

Intercooled systems are complete with all components necessary for installation. Included in the kit is the patented intake manifold (replacing the factory nylon manifold), intercooler core, coolant circulation pump, heat exchanger and all necessary hardware to complete the entire installation.

Other components include new fuel injectors, fuel rails, factory "push lock connectors" and regulator adapter. Computer programmer communicates with the factory ECU for proper calibration of the supercharger system. Transmission shift points, line pressures and converter strategies are optimized for use with the increase in torque and horsepower. Extended power train warranty is available for customer piece of mind.

This is a very popular system for the 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 trucks. The system is complete with everything you need for the install and for reliable horsepower.

Vortech has a new kit available that includes an Aftercooler -

They currently only have programming available for the 2003 Silverado SS, Cadillac Escalade and GMC Denali but other years/vehicles might follow. They have given us the green light to sell this system without programming for other trucks powered by the 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 but those kits won't come with programming. Horsepower gains will be in the 120-130 range.

Hope this helps,
Tom

My truck has a ATI on it and my brother has a Radix, both on 6.0L. Both are nice units, my ATI is alitle louder. He has very good punch through the midrange and can break the tires easily. The ATI on mine has more uppder end punch as it spools it it takes off. Depends on what you like, ATI is alot cheaper, but radix would be great for towing and such.

Something just clicked when I read this again. Magnuson just finished programming for the 2004 trucks. They should have that ready for the 2004 SUVs very good.

I run this system on my 8.1 Suburban -

The truck made 408hp/558ft-lb torque with this and a few other mods.

Our regular pricing is -

01 8.1I.C.2001-'03 8.1 Whipplecharger kit with intercooler - black finish $5749.99

01 8.1 P.I.C. 2001-'03 8.1 Whipplecharger kit with intercooler - polished finish $6749.99

We're running a Whipple Group Purchase for the month of January. This can save you quite a bit off of this system. Please e-mail for the GP price.

Thanks,
Tom

What would a Whipple system cost for a 2000 with a 454? do they have an intercooled system as well? My tow vehicle could use some help going over the big hills.

hey Tbyrne..anything for a BMW 740il ?????
Nothing yet but I saw a 3 series with a custom Vortech kit a few years ago. The blower looked right at home under the hood :)

Yeah, this better be a "no problem kit" I need another Super Charger project like I need another hole in my head
Everyone needs to be blown!

I will e-mail ya, by the way how much boost can I put to this pig!!!
Any requests for pricing that were sent over during the last two days will be answered tomorrow (Fri) morning. I run 7.5# in my Suburban. I've been told that the 496 doesn't like big boost so the highest I would go with is 8#. The 496 feels like a totally different truck with over 7# of boost. It comes in handy to take down some imports and mild "performance cars". A kid in a 4.6 Mustang found this out the hard way a few weeks ago. I just hope there was someone in his car to see it happen :)

Shouldn't this question be asked on www.fullsizechevy.co or www.gm-trucks.com or "Other Cars" at least.
