Hi I was thinking of installing a NOS system in my 00 coupe, which for the most part is stock. What are the negative aspects of using this stuff? Will it harm internal components in my engine?Bang for the buck it seems like a good alternative to expensive superchargers

First its not NOS, its Nitrous. NOS is a company owned by Holley that produces a nitrous oxide (n2O) kit. Nitrous can be used safely, if it is set up correctly. If something is not set up correctly then it can lead to a rebuild of the motor. The rings will be the first thing to go, since the rings in the LS1, prior ot 2002, were crappy anyway.
