Ok, so i was wondering what kind of turbos you ghuys would use, if you where building your own turbo setup? I have a 2003 Silveradoss, with the 6.0 and LQ9 heads. I have read maximum boost, but i was not sure how i should go about this. I was thinking twin turbos, but would a single turbo be ok? Should i drop the CR with new pistons? How strong is the stock rotating asembly? Am I crazy? I was planing on getting a tig welder soon, and fabing everything out of stainless, and aluminum... any help is apreciated, THX...
Sounds like a fun project, I can't offer any advice but would love to see pics of the buildup.
like always, i think this project is gona come down to money, something at the moment, i am out of being a college student and all, but it should change shortly...
Re: OT sorta, please do not flame.... (bigblockbob)
depends on what your intention is... if you are looking to tow with your truck, then I would go supercharger. If you are looking to do a single turbo I would go with a T66. If you wanted to do twins, then go with a 2- t3-t4 hybid turbos. You will only want to run about 5-7 lbs, without upgrading the rotating assembly. Also a fuel upgrade is needed.

I don't know much about it, but I agree that a fuel system upgrade would be high priority. I'd love to see pics of the install once you get it done.
