The little general is cutting into my winter modification budget. . .so I am trying to figure out the best way to move forward with the mods.
I already have a Z06 cam and headers sittling in my garage. If I go ahead and have these installed, what other little things should I also add? Springs? Retainers? ARP studs? Rods?
It is likely I will add some forged internals so I can up the boost, next.
Although the Z06 cam is mild, it's still very streetable and will boost performance, the heads are a great choice IMO. I went with Patriot stage II LS-1 heads because I whimped out on upping the compression :bb
You should think about adding some stronger springs like Comp Cams 918 or 978 springs and definitely replace the pushrods with something better, just go to www.thunderracing.com and start shopping.
