Default Forced Induction

What type/manufacturer of SC would you guys recommend for a 7psi 500+hp intercooled setup that runs on 93 octane pump gas. I am trying to limit myself to pretty much the cheapest FI I can get, thinking around 6-7 grand? I have a '99 Hardtop 6-speed with custom air intake and cat back exhaust so far. I will be keeping the engine in stock form but will be upgrading the clutch. I also want to keep the rest of the engine area stock and not have to mess with drilling oil lines, moving radiators and changing exhaust manifolds. I will be installing the SC kit myself in Germany so I would need it to come with a programmer and possibly pre-programmed. I am a decient mechanic and a SC sounds alot easier to install then a turbo not to mention the cost savings. I have read bit's and pieces on the board but cannot get a clear guide as to which direction to go.

As much info as you can give is greatly appreciated!

I know I will probably start something here, but I would recommend the ATI setup. :D
I got one of the early ones so I went through the R&D for them but as I understand it the new ones have the bugs worked out.

I would stick with 5-7lbs of boost because this is a safe level for the engine and I have been in Germany and know the issues of finding proper fuel.
Make sure to pin the balancer to the crank and pay close attention to the belt alignment and tension, (install a new factory tensioner with the SC).

Then        caue you'll kick some but out there on the Autobaun.........

This pretty much limits you to the ATI base P1-SC kit. Those kits, while the issues have finally been worked out, don't come with programming any more. You would have to remove the computer and send it to Ed Wright for programming.

BTW, I'd seriously consider Andy's single intercooler kit if I were you. You have to lay down the radiator, but I've heard that it's really not that hard to do. :seeya
