this is straight from kenne-bell.....255L and smaller use a 20 amp and 255L and larger use a 40 amp.......i am thinking of using one just for insurance reasons only....i already have the racetronix pump and harness...i am not sure how big the racetronix pump is...maybe 340 as i recall??????
The 20 amp works fine with the racetronix. I have them in stock , already modified with the correct Weatherpak fittings to plug directly into the Racetronix harness without splicing.
I had not planned on using the Racetronix, and thought I would not need one for my modest HP goals (460 RWHP), but wanted to go with the Boost-a-Pump for a little insurance and ease of installation.
Would the 20 AMP meet my HP goals???
jbsblownc5,
What do you mean when you say "after power drop offs on long cruises"???
I have MSD's boost a pump running a 450lb/hr aeromotive. It may be over kill but it will never go lean. I bought the boost a pump almost new on ebay for $140 hasn't ever blown a fuse or given me a problem.
