Controller might be overboosting. I may have hit a switch on the
head unit and the switch setting is dependent on which type of Wastgate.

If its a Blitz unit IM me and I can walk you through making sure the unit is set up correctly for actuator style waste gates.

Thanks VETZILLA - Its an HKS EVC. HKS says that there is a switch on the head Unit dependent on the wastegate but I can't find this switch. Also, it was set up by 21CMC and it was fine when they set it up. But I'm overbosting at times. I did find some kind of regulator that inserts into the MAF that was out just a hair. I pushed it back in - I don't know if this is gonna solve it.

With the controller off, she never exceeds more than 8.6 PSI. But I'm protected anyway with it on as I have a 11.5 PSI protection setting on the HKS EVC. Its just that even on low boost setting, it sometimes climbs to high boost. It sounds like something simple. I just hope I can figure it out - don't want to have to to shell out more $$$ for something simple.

 

You mean regarding the Controller issue? BTW, real nice under-the-hood setup you got there!!!

I meant on your turbos do they need to be rebuilt and did you find out why you were having the blow by oil issues? :confused:

I think you may be getting me mixed up with Mean Green the Moderator, who's name is also Mark. He bought an LPE TT Car not long ago and started a thread on oil issues and possible turbo rebuild. I think he took it to a place in Tampa, not too far from me actually. I'm curious myself as to how he is making out.
