Have the problems with the lag that occurs at the beginning of spraying with this kit been worked out? Also I was wondering whats so great about this NXL kit over the typical NX kit.... what are the benefits essentially? Also what comes with the kit, it says some type of harness and stuff? does this mean I don't need a wide open throttle switch and RPM activated window switch cause it comes with the kit?
I have the kit, and run the 180 jets with 36# injectors, on a stock fuel system... and have no hesitation. Maybe the hesitation is the air that is in the line, since the kit does not come with a purge.
will i have to switch over to bigger injectors? what does the kit exactly come with? does it come with the wide open throttle switch or maybe even the sensor and the rpm activated window switch?
You will not have to go to bigger injectors because this is a wet kit. You will want to retard some timing, and change your plugs from platunum to copper. NGK TR6's will do the trick. The kit comes with everything you will need to run. It does not come with a window switch. No ones kit does. Please let me know if you need any help.
The issue is a loss of fuel pressure at launch. Some say to varying degrees but mine was a drop from 60psi to 30 psi. NX says that the kit emptys the fuel rails momentarly and that they are making an acumulator for it that will fix the problem. They have said this sense October when they first learned of the problem and continue to say next month every month. This is typical of NX. I took mine off and went back to my NX wet kit even though NX assured me that running a 180 shot of nitrous was ok with a lean spike that was off the chart on the dyno. :mad :mad :mad
NX says the accumulators will be included with all future NXL kits they sell once they get them manufactured. Any one who already has this defective kit will be allowed to purchase one at a bargain price.

Several people over at LS1Tech ran into this exact same problem as you've mentioned above. When I spoke to NX about it, they said the acumulator won't be available to the hand of end-users for another couple months.
I would suggest that anyone that is having fuel supply issues to the nxl rails, check your fuel filters first. I picked up 2 psi (from 58-60) on a stock fuel pump just by changing the filter. These filters are only good for about 10k miles.
has anyone tried upgrading their stock fuel system with a Racetronix intank upgrade kit?? I'm told this upgrade will greatly reduce the initial fuel pressure loss when nitrous first engaged.
