Default UPGRADE THAT DRIVE TRAIN

I have heard people say it time and time again. So what would you upgrade in a 650rwhp+ C5 6 speed to keep ot all together when hitting that kind of HP? What kind of extra costs involved. Still sounds like it's cheaper to do it right than have it break on you. Feedback????

If your hitting the track, I say definitely need upgades. Clutch, half shafts etc. If it is just a street driven car, I wouldn't do anything other than maybe the clutch, nothing will break except the tires breaking loose.

I'm going with the Exedy Twin Disk Clutch, DTE stage 4 diff(3.42) w/strut kit and a G-Force tranny w/M12 gears in 1st - 3rd.......M6 gears in 4th - 6th. Probably about $8-10K total cost.

I would suggest a twin disc clutch, a rear with hardened output shafts, and a DTE tranny girdle.

Well that's almost $5k right there, I did a lot of research prior to getting my work done and these are about as close to race gears as you can get, they're not straight cut, but are very close and will have noise associated with them, looking forward to hearing some feedback on 'em
