sounds like a good idea. is there any otheres places i can get the switched power besides under the footwell. i got the radio going there, the nitrous stuff, etc
I am now not running any significant current from switched power - only enough current to arm the system and activate relays for the opener and bottle heater. As I found out, anything drawing 10 amps or more should be done using relays with main power coming straight from the battery. I have a total of 5 taps going into the switched power (accessory power) under the passenger glove box, all going to switches in my panel and cotinuing on to activate relays or other safety devices (TPS, WOT, etc. switches).
I am running three 40 amp relays activated through switches powered by the switched acc wire. to activate breakers themselves doesn't take much power. You should be safe running (it sounds like up-to five?) 3/5 relays off that one acc wire.
