Default forced induction.. ATI questions

i dont konw whether to go nitrous or supercharger.. i want 540 at the wheels and will only add headers and halltech TRAP to my 2002 Z06 no more bolt ons..
i have a few questions experts:

1- What should i expect to pay for a new supercharger(p1 or d1?) and how much for a used one?
2- i will keep my clutch since i wont be seeing the drag much.. is that okay?
3- do i need bigger injectors or a differnet fuel pump?
4- is 540 reasonable?
5- anyone with track times?

thanks for your help!

You should call me. I can answer all your questions.
My P1SC single intercooler setup is on sale for $5000 complete with injectors. I have a couple of used D1SC units as well. You will need a pump or a Boost A Pump. 540 is possible with headers. I'd stay closer to 500 to be safe, though.

.....this is the only guy you need to talk to when it comes to s/c Vettes. He'll definitely steer you in the right direction. I wish I lived in Cali..... There's about 5 things I want Andy to do, but living in Houston makes it a bit difficult.

First, I'm no expert from experience. I've read just about every FI post thats come across in the past six months while I patiently accumulate the required funds to put a procharger on my car.

1. You can expect to pay $3500 to $4000 for a used kit depending upon whats included. Keep in mind though, most likely this will be for a twin intercooler as developed by ATI.

2. 540 HP on a stock clutch- Maybe for a while, but you'll be on borrowed time.

3. Yes- probably 42 lb injectors + a KB Boost a Pump or Racetronix-

4. 540- You can do it - but 500 is a more realistic target for saftey- Really, traction on the street will be an issue no matter what and if you don't race, you really don't need the extra 40 hp-

Spend a little extra and get the new front mount kit from A&A, it's a *much* better value than a used stock ATI kit for $3500.
