I want to hear the sound of difference BOV. Try to decide which one I will end up buying one. If you have a sound clip can you please post them here? Thanks guys
Bruce.... with the HP you are getting ready to make you need some sort of race bypass valve... I am using the using the Procharger race bypass valve.. Otherwise, the smaller valves are too small and will not releave enough pressure when you close the throttle blades. Just my $.02...
I am using a Vortech Racing BOV on a drawthrough system that recycles Blown off air back into the S/C... I dont hear the BOV at all and it is much better to not hear it at all IMO.

Is yours a MAF system? How would that work with a speed density system?

I have the HKS SSQV and it's too small. Instead of a whoosh it has a teakettle chatter.
Do any of you guys know if a boost controller (for turbos) has ever been rigged to act as a blow off valve for a supercharger? I would rather simply bleed off some pressure from my intake tract instead of playing with my pulley sizes....
I spoke with John Meaney yesterday and he told me that I could absolutely use a waste gate in this manner. It makes sense to me that I could. As soon as I get my car out and about I'm going to see how much boost I make...If I make too much I will then install an eletronic boost controller to keep things under control. This got me thinking.... Could I use my Procharger Race bypass valve for this same purpose? It does of course have a vacuum reference.... could that signal be manipulated by the electronic boost controller to dump excess boost... anyone?
