Default Options besides Autometer Gauges?

Title says it all. I like the look of the Cobalts, but would have to take the path of Dr. Coffee- The bezels really need to be toned down.

So besides blowing $400 on Autometer (boost + Fuel Press) , is there anything else out there?

Looked through Jegs and summit racing- all other options are either mechanical gauges or digital read out.

Thanks,
Dave

Defi....

Tigersharkcorvette has these, they are pretty close to stock looking - my only hang up with them was the boost gauge is 30psi... I prefer 20 for ease on the eye's.

I am sure their are plenty of others, you can look at import site's as they typically have TONS of gauges....

I did try Tigershark and they are no longer carrying the Defi. I wasn't the biggest fan of the reddish glow they provide at night- but they were a nice alternative.

I have also been looking at import pages... Everything I've seen is mechanical gauges or not 2 1/16- so they wont fit in the A pillar.

There was not much out there that looked good and since that was all anyone would be able to see, I chose to blow my wad on the Cobalts. No regrets. As you know I had the bezels changed to look more stealthy. Also these gauges are electric and far more sensitive than mechanical gauges. There was one company I almost bought because the gauges were $50 and $80 Boost/fuel but they only had the white faces. Stewart Warner.

VDO aslo make a nice gauge.

I'll be honest, I wasn't a fan of those digital gauges- but they do look decent in the pillar and they have got to be much easier to read than the tiny numbers in the analog gauges.

Thanks for the pic.

I didn't like the bezels either but found the Autometer Z-series which has black bezels that are not overstated. As a matter of fact they're going in tomorrow, weather permitting. Vac/boost $47; fuel pressure $231; dual pillar $56. found online (Overboost.com) and the shop will match it!!!

Be nice to have those digital gages in the HUD rather than on the pillar
