Guys,
I finally finished my NXL install. I used a lot of forum pictures to go by and thought I would share mine as well. This was my first nitrous install, so let me know what you think.
Did you test out this system yet? I am asking because Blue Y fitting that has three 4an males coming out of it is going into what looks to be a gauge adapter which is also blue. If it is a standard gauge adapter that normal attaches to a bottle then it does not have a seat for the 4an fitting you have threaded it into. When you turn your bottle on that fitting will leak. I can not tell what type of fiting that is. It looks like a regular gauge adapter. A gauge adapter has PIPE threads not an An flare seat. It looks like you threaded the Y fitting really far into it to get it to seat, but in actuallity it will never seat properly. Other than that the system looks great. Awesome clean install.
Thanks
The "y" has (3) -4 fittings. The other blue piece is a -4 adapter w/1/8"NPT ports on both sides. It fits together fine. I have tested the system, no leaks.
WOW!! You realy did a GREAT job on the install!!!! How long did it take you start to finish? Did you need anything other than the kit and maybe the Gen X2?
Thanks for all the compliments. Bascially I used the NXL kit and the GenII kit. I did have to get some more fittings and tubing for the purge, and 2 adapters for the fuel pressure sender and fuel pressure safety switch. I worked off and on on the install over about 4 weekends. This was my first nitrous install, so I took my time and tried to do everything right and make it look good. I don't know what a tuner would charge for an install like this, it is not hard just time consuming.
