Hey guys..
I plan on installing the kit this week. For the power ring setup I hear the coupler needs to trimmed or cut? I also hear the stock setup doenst work because the coupler is too hard? Right now I have the stock intake system setup with the zip tie LID mod. If I need a new coupler I was thinking I might as well go with the stinger intake system. Will the coupler from that setup work fine with the power ring? If it needs to be trimmed, its no big deal. I just need some guidance on how to set it up.

I know the F-Body guys have a lot of trouble getting the power ring to fit their setups. I would imagine it would be even more difficult on the vette. I'd call TNT and ask them. I hear their tech is pretty good.

FWIW, I redesigned the TNT power ring for a buddy so the nozzles were oriented horizontally and don't press against the hood blanket. I had it machined out of SS and mirror polished. I still have the CAD drawing I did if anyone wants to reproduce it.

My Buddy has a TNT ring kit on his 100% bone stock 2002 vert with drag radial hitting the Nos on roll with a 150 shot and ran 11.3 at 125 mph. The kit works great..It dynoed 126 hp extra and 265 extra tq to the with a 100 shot pill. Dynoed and installed at ARE
