Default Help with setup

Hey guys I'm new to corvettes and i need alittle help with a setup that I'm planning on. I want to s/c my vette. I know that there are a few things I need to do before or with the s/c kit. I'm planning on long tube headers, exhaust and clutch. Please feel free to let me know if I missed anything. What brands would you use. Thanks

Don't forget to upgrade your injectors and fuel pump. Which blower are you looking at? Vortec, Mag, or ATI ?. If you are going to do a ProCharger (ATI) I would seriously consider contacting ECS or A&A for one of their SIC (Single InterCooler) kits. Feel free to email me if you want the truth about costs..

Cheers,

Mark

If you're just going to bolt a supercharger on and stop, you might be OK with just getting the SC kit and nothing else. Depending on the health of your clutch (and how you treat it after the SC) you MAY need to do that sometime shortly after initial install. Good headers will give you a healthy horsepower gain on your FI car but are not a requirement.

As far as kits, a lot of people are happy with their Vortech kit. I think that kit tends to be a little less "supported" here as fewer people seem to have that and more people seem to have the ATI. A lot of people are really happy with the Magnuson kit, but if you go that route you'll be very boost limited and will have to find other ways to add power if you want more in the future (nitrous maybe?)
