Default ??? on nitrous

I'm thinking about adding a small shot of nitrous, mostly to cool my air charge back down closer to ambient and I'm thinking maybe a 35 shot.

If I go with a wet shot that small there will be very little tuning if any at all needed but if I go with a dry shot then I'll need to let the PCM add the extra fuel, my question is has anyone done the dry shot and would you recommend it or should I just go the easy route and put in a wet shot

Hey, you know my answer, go wet... When they dynoed and tuned my car with the 35 shot, they tuned it without the juice and then just did a few pulls to see what it would make, no extra tuning needed. Of course I've already pulled the 35 and am running a 75 shot now I got my 10 sec. run last night but was just going to post about what happened in my last run. She rolled of the trailor at 3:30 am last night

runamuk, why not do an alky kit (like www.alkycontrol.com) and get your IAT's down 50-100, plus the methanol gives you race gas level octane. Add a smaller pulley while doing this and your good to go.

BTW - I forgot to ask you, have you got the upgraded tensioner? All the IC's have it, must be a reason!

I would go with a dry shot...just make sure to spray before the maf sensor and not too close to it either.

GMF: I don't have the upgraded tensioner but I think I'll call Magnuson and ask them about it?

That is if I get someone who understands that I do my own work, last time I called to order new O-rings for the top and bottom manifold and the guy gave me a hard time and requested I send it back to them, he said it's the only way to maintain my warranty, I don't need no stinkin warranty
