Default IC Maggie questions

Couple of IC related questions:

1. What's required in installing the uprated fuel pump? Does it get changed from within the passenger compartment or under the car?

2. What liquid does the IC use? What does that part of the installation entail? (heat exchanger in front of the car? tapping the radiator?)

Any experrience with High-Altitude installations? I'm in Denver, and am toying with using teh supercharger to make up some of that power lost to altitude...Assuming I keep the stock pulley and belt for lowlander use, what is available? Are there issues with belt slippage?

Call Magnusson www.magnacharger.com They'll answer all your questions.

but,

pre ffs switch which happened mid 2003 model year all you have to do is pull the cover off of the left fuel tank which is not very involved.

and the coolant used from what I understand is a mixture of water wetter/water plus the cooler mounts to the front of the radiator like a tranny cooler would (no tapping of lines).

No issues with belt slippage on the mag but for a high altitude use I would definitely look at a smaller pulley to maintain the boost check out www.aspracing.com

pre ffs switch? (not quite sure what that means) The candidate is a 98...Is it safe to assume this gets rid of the fuel pump whine? :

edit: Just noticed your .sig....hows your tranny holding up?

Your fine, it's post FFS that you have to worry about. With post FFS you have to drop the left tank and as of yet I don't think there is an upgraded fuel pump for post FFS fuel system but since you have a 98 then you have a pre FFS fuel system and can just get a Racetronis pump or a boost a pump to upgrade your fuel system
