Default Nitrous????

I have a 99 mn6 72kmiles with exhaust and a halltech stinger intake. I was set on buying a D1 from Ecs but the funds are low and i just got wooped by an awd talon the other nite and i hate to lose so now im thinkin about doing nitrous. So whats the better kit to buy? What other parts not in the kit should i buy? Is it worth tuning my car 4 the gas? Also whats with this wideband thing? Do all the neat ashtray switches come with the kit? I did some searches and i think a 100shot would be good 4 me. I go to the track about 5 times a year. I would like to see low 12s or high 11s. Also how many miles have u guys put on ur stock motor with the gas? Thanks much Adam Dittmer

I would do a compression check on the motor before you start. I would suggest if everything checks out that you go with the NXL kit from Nitrous Express. The ashtray switches do not come with the kit, but they are only about 60.00. A wideband o2 is nice to have, but costs about 500.00. I would retard about 2 degrees of timing or run race fuel to prevent detonation. You will also have to change your plugs from platnum to copper, as copper plugs run colder. I would also suggest a window switch to prevent overreving and going lean. Please let me know if you have any questions. I will be happy to help.
