Default Nitrous Question

I have just upped my jets to a 150 shot from a 100, I am running the TNT kit and had great luck on the 100 but thought I would bump it up a bit. My new motor has the forged internals, 30lb SVO injectors and I also added the racetronix pump. Do the forum members feel I will be safe running this combo? I had the car dynoed with the new motor but no nitrous this yr as they wanted me to break it in first and I have not made it back to Chicago to re-dyno.

Man I can't beleive with all of this knowledge I'm not getting more replies, I called TNT and they tell me the way their kit is set up that my pump needs to pump out 255 liters per hour. Like I said I have the racetronix in tank pump with the upgraded wiring harness but I don't have the paperwork here in front of me so I called a racetronix distributor and he said it's rated at 255 per hour. All nitrous users esp. TNT users please chime in as race nite is tomorrow and don't want to have to switch my jets back out again.

There will be a lot of people on here that will tell you not to spray it, but I can only tell you what my experiences w/ TNT and nitrous in general have been. I sprayed a NX 150 on my stock C4, NOS 200 on an LT1 TA, TNT 200 shot on a BONE STOCK LS1 Z28 -- I went through 20 bottles at this level and NEVER had a problem. All I had was a maf translator that richened up the car; I am about to install a 150 TNT shot on my 99 FRC, so in my opinion, you should do it. I have gone through probably 200 or so bottles of nitrous on my cars in the last 3-4 years and have never had a problem. And all of the kits were set at a minimum of 150hp. Like I said above, a lot of people will tell you not to do it because you will blow up your car. I thought the same thing before starting to use nitrous myself. In the end it is up to you, but w/ forged internals, fuel pump, and injectors you should have no problems w/ a 150 shot........hell w/ that setup I would be spraying 200.

Good luck w/ it and BTW TNT is the BEST kit on the market in my book. Nothing against the others, but I have tried them all and like TNT the best.
