CCW is good and they seem to be the only option for the c5.
What gears do you have? The best traction is with a 28" tire, but you have to have the gears for it.
You want to be close to redline through the traps.
28" tire
3.42 = 158@6500
3.73 = 145@6500
3.90 = 139@6500
4.10 = 132@6500
26" tire
3.42 = 147@6500
3.73 = 134@6500
3.90 = 128@6500
4.10 = 122@6500
If you are still on stock gears the 26" tire is the obvious choice. Unless you can somehow trap around 158
I think 150 requires a chute.

Gary,
CCW with 26x11.5" is about the only choice right now for you.
I am running the 28" right now with a 3.90 gear. but based on the amount of gear issues I am having I may go back to the Getrag gears will go back to the 26".

Thanks Phil, Now what about the drive line. What would you suggest I do to keep from blowing something up. I will be upgrading this winter.
Thanks

you are a lot better off hitting the tires hard and letting the car spin a little. it is a hard dead hook that will shatter the drivetrain parts. and if you haven't already gotten one, I would suggest a harlan 2-step so that you can build boost on the line and control your launch rpm.
