I upgraded my exhaust for under $10 and got another 50 RWHP. The technique was suggested by the guys who did my supercharger, and boy am I glad I tried it. I had my car dyno'd in south jersey and I couldn't believe the results. Who would of thought that welding coffee cans to the back of my exhaust would make such a difference. Man, I am now a believer. You too can make this easy gain if you follow the step by step instructions at http://www.angelfire.com/nc2/mycoffeecan/page1.html

Its understandable that you may find it hard to believe if you have not tried this. I used the large coffee can sizes to get every bit of gain possible. Try it, you won't believe it until you do. As they say, "with great power, comes great responsibility."

But if you use a can from Decaf coffee it does not wake the motor up as much so you only get 10 RWHP!!!

Oh ok, I understand now. So thats why all those ricers sound the way they do. I knew there had to be some explanation for the annoying exhaust note. Way to go.
Mock me if you will. I will always have the last laugh. Thanks to a couple of family sized Maxwell House cans, I am known across the globe as glen_automatic, fastest guy in town.

Not Impressed!
You blantantly stole the idea and the basic design from the Ricers!!!
They spend time/money on these incredible innovations and you guys mock them, and to ad insult you bare face steal there racing secrets!
Next thing I'll bet you'll steal their exhaust venturi propeller!...I can see it already, a blue whirling dervish in the center of the can sucking out the exhaust for bonus horsepower and providing a jet effect to further accelerate the car!
For shame. For shame.
Let's give credit where due, and at least a written acknowledgement of where these ideas come from...that will keep you out of patent court-maybe, patent attorneys can be as expensive as divorce attorneys!
Good luck,
Roy

Let me tell you why this coffee-can mod saved my reputation. As you know I am Glen_Automatic, fastest guy in town. About two months ago, this cheetah moved in next door. Everyday on my way to work, the cheetah would taunt me. Finally one cool morning, I pulled along side this cheetah at a red light. After shifting into 2nd, the cheetah pulled away with such acceleration that I couldn't believe that I, Glen_Automatic, fastest guy in town, was beaten by a cheetah.
Now you may say well, Glen_Automatic, fastest guy in town, the cheetah is the fastest animal on earth. However, I always thought that noone would ever beat my supercharged vette. So I talk to this tuner in south jersey, and they tell me if I put these coffee cans on my exhaust, I will absolutely give this cheetah a run for its money. The monday after I had these family sized Maxwell House cans attached, sure enough there was the cheetah waiting for me at the light on my way to work. The extra 50HP I gained from this mod enabled me to pull away from this cheetah with lightening speed. Therefore, I still hold my title as Glen_Automatic, fastest guy in town!

This morning around 8:12 I hit a bird while going well over 140mph. Now I have deadbird smell stuck in my car. How can I, glen_automatic fastest guy in town, remove deadbird smell from inside my car without losing that great new car smell? I'd open my windows, but I do not want the new car smell to escape.
