Just an fyi, I evaluated a black ProParts triple pod full pillar for the C5 earlier this year. While the quality of the part seems the same as the Gauge Works (Autometer) parts, its high-gloss finish doesn't fit well with the C5's interior finish.

No problem guys. Here are some quick comparison shots I just shot so that you can see what I mean by the non-stock looking high-gloss finish.

Z06GMAN, not yet to my knowledge.

OEM A-Pillar cover and ProParts ProPod triple pod pillar

Gauge Works dual pod pillar and ProParts ProPod triple pod pillar

All of the above.

Note: this is how they look straight out of their respective boxes. I did not put any shine/protectant product on them, nor did the manufacturer. The high-gloss finish is part of the piece.

In the pictures, mainly due to the flash, the Gauge Works and ProPod pieces look very similar as far as the shine goes, but in person, you can really tell that the ProPod part is much more glossy.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Keith it helps alot. I guess I could do one of two things. Have Caravaggio do a leather cover for it and the other side...............or get VE to do the carbon fiber process on both....what do you think????

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the simulated carbon fiber look, but it's what you like that's important.

If I were installing a triple pod pillar cover and had no other choice but to go with the ProPods part, I'd have it wrapped to match the dash/door material.
