Nitrous Install
NX 50-150 GM EFI wet kit
NX Purge kit
NX Bottle heater
NX Remote bottle opener
NX Nitrous activation switch panel
NX Throttle position activation switch
TBYRNE modified MSD window switch
NGK TR6 plugs gapped @ 38
Miscellaneous: 5- 90 degree 3AN fittings, lots of wire loom, lots of quick connectors and button head screws.
I didn't try to hide my solenoids but I did want to have a clean "OEM-type" look. So I mounted the fuel solenoid to the left side of the top of radiator shroud and the nitrous solenoid on the opposite side using button head screws. Like this:
In the (poor quality, I'm sorry) pictures you can't see the solenoids or the braided steel lines because I painted the "noids" flat black and loomed the braided lines. I then taped off the connector fittings giving the whole thing a more "OEM-like" finish. I'll update the this thread later with a close-up shot, in the meantime here's what you see with the hood open:
I mounted the NX switch panel in the convenient location behind the ashtray door. Looks nice but was not a simple job. Here's what it looked like before I re-installed the radio surround:
I wanted to keep as much rear storage space as possible so I mounted the bottle in the well on the slope. This way I can angle the internal pick-up so that it is submerged in the juice on acceleration. I also had the bottle painted to match the car. I need to tidy up the the look with some loom but for now it looks like this:
I decided to purge out of the front screen area so that the plume will appear as if it was coming from nostrils. In the picture see if you can spot the flared ends of the purge line.
The install is fairly easy to do however it has taken me over two weeks to get it done. Hey what can I say, I gotta day job. I currently have the system pilled for a 100 shot but I'm taking the car to a dyno to make sure I have the fuel to support my 125 and 150 shot pills.
In addition to the NO2 install, I took this opportunity to install a Hurst shifter. Honestly, I initally thought it was a mistake but over the miles it has loosened up significantly. The shifts are much shorter and positve, and although there is effort required it isn't unbearable.
Next up: wheels studs, rotors, ceramic brake pads, and Nitto R2s

Here are some of the fuel solenoid:
Here are a few of the nitrous and purge solenoids:
Here's an egine bay shot:
And finally, a close up of the left-side purge line which mirrors the right side exactly:
I noticed in the flash picture that my button head bolts are oxidizing :frown: so I'll have to touch them up with an enamel rust-proof paint. In the picture of the nitrous solenoid you can see a loop. That's because I used the original line that came with the kit. I have a 12" line on order that will go nicely and clean up the look considerably. That's all for now.
