Default Car 99% Complete update F1R Blower 383 Stroker

Just got my 2000 C5 back and it dyno'd at 633 RWHP and 630 Torque and that was at 5200rpms when I experienced belt slippage. My plans ae to get the slippage corrected and maybe a smaller pulley for my supercharger and the car should be well over 700 rwhp - the question at that point is how much of that power I can control. I have listed below all the work done on the car - it is so freakin aggressive its crazy.

ATI F1R Procharger 3.80 pulley, A & A Stage 2 Single Intercooler, Stage 3 heads, Cometic Gaskits, Pro M Maf(awesome), 383 Lunati Stroker with a LS6 Block, Meziere Electric Water pump, Custom Cam, 8 rib setup, 60lb fuel injector with custom fuel lines, Racetronic fuel pump and Keene Boost a pump, Jesel Shaft Rockers, LSX Fast intake, 90mm throttle body, ARP Head Studs, Double rolling timing chain, Stage 3 Spec Clutch, 3.73 gear with hardend output shafts, Ron Davis radiator with oil cooler, G2 Headers, Hurst short shifter, brake line lock, Eradispeed crossdrilled rotors, Tigershark frontend kit, spoiler on back, heat induction hood, complete custom interior, CCW wheels 18" front and rear with 295 on front and 335 on rear.

That is the majors that was done on the car - I have a complete audio system upgrade that consists of Jl Audio XR speakers for the front and rear, JL 500.5 amplifier powering everything, custom enclosure with a JL 10W3, Kenwood 911 dvd flip out touchscreen monitor and a rear view camera.

Thanks for all the input as this was being built. I will post pics of car, engine, and dyno graph in the next day or so.

Steve

Sounds a lot like my setup. I never could solve the belt slip issue (although I was running a D1SC which means a smaller pulley) without causing other issues. I'd love to hear how you make out on the issue.

Best of luck and post some pics! Your ride sounds real sweet.

Great numbers..... are you using an 8 rib setup? A smaller pulley will increase the belt slip....might want to try a 4.10" Reichard. What's your boost level with the 3.80.

Thats awesome, making me want my car back now...I hate you...LOL
Congrats on the setup.
Are you running 6 rib or 8 rib?
What level boost are you using with 3.8 pulley.
We want pictures....
Thanks,
Jon

I am running the 8 rib setup - the boost is at 15 lbs at 5200 rpms. I am looking at changing the tensioner so that it doesnt give as much and looking at a different configuration for the belt. Even if I can't get the slippage down I have so much power and torque for a daily driver - there really isnt much out there that can do anything with this car.

I will get pics up by tomorrow. I think you all will find the MAF and setup under the hood extremely interesting.

Very nice....... I like what you have with the top. The black with the rear-end treatments along with the hood really finish it off.....
