Default Boost problems....

Or should I say lack of boost problems. Made it to the tracks tonight and proceeded to run: 13.3, 12.9, 12.9, 12.9, 13.1 all at around 108mph (previous best with just the TRAP & Bullets was 12.2@118mph. On my 5th pass, I remembered to look at the boost gauge only to see it maxing at 1lb.......

I am running a stock out of the box Intercooled Mag setup, and since I rarely get into boost, the last time I can remember chalking up about 7lbs was a month ago.

Could this be belt slippage, or should I be worried about something else? Any help is appreciated.

Aloha, Dave

PS: Mods are all listed in the sig.

Dave: I do not see your mods in your sig.....

Have you checked the bypass valve? You need to make sure that it is closing! Do you see any dust around the pulley area?

Thanks, I checked for dust last night at the track and it looked fine. I need to make sure the brake booster is not interfering with the bypass actuation lever.....I'll be back.

OH, my sig is listed at the bottom of my first message

Exactly what I was hoping it would be - this is an easy fix! Everything else felt expensive!! Congrats on a newly running beast!

DDS, Robbie-Thanks. I was a little concerned when my trap speed turned up so slow. I was also hooking up waaay to good for our track. I hardly get the car into boost so I don't know if it's been a problem for long, but I'm glad it's fixed!

Thanks for the support you guys!

Aloha, Dave
