The twin can be sprung plates, and has vented centre section.
The triple is solid only, with solid intermediate friction surfaces.
Although both use the same cover and flywheel, so once flywheel and cover have been purchased, AFAIK its pretty easy to upgrade, or downgrade as the case may be.
